New Trustees Appointed

We are pleased to advise of the appointment of two new trustees to PHT. They are Donna Sherlock of Glenside and Tendai Nyamdela from Tawa.

Donna lives on a small lifestyle block in Glenside and has been active in Forest and Bird and contributed to the growth of the Kiwi Conservation Club.  Donna has also been the National Coordinator for the NZ Association for Environmental Education and assisted with the national promotion for Seaweek and more recently has had roles in waste management with WCC.

Tendai has strong strategic skills and is well versed in governance on boards. She has a science degree in Land and Water resource management and has a good understanding of the challenges facing the Trust in managing issues for Porirua Harbour.  Living in Tawa, Tendai offers the Trust a valuable connection with the urban community in the upper reaches of the catchment.
