Porirua Harbour Trust

Trust Deed

A new Trust was formed in 2020 to replace the original trust. It has the approval of the Charities Commission.  Unlike the original trust the new trust does not have Council representatives as trustees.  This was because the Councils decided that they were potentially in a conflict of interest situation when it came to independent advocacy. The Trust Deed of the Porirua Harbour and Catchments Community Trust: signed Deed of Trust

The  original Trust Deed signed on the 11th March 2011 provided information on the Porirua Harbour, names of the original trustees, the regulations governing the first trust and that trust’s objectives.
