In November 2023 the Harbour Trust ran a photography competition called “Show us your harbour”. The competition had seven categories: Scenic, Nature, Artistic, Recreational, Challenges, College and Primary School. The Award winners, announced in February 2024, are shown below:

The Guardians of Pāuatahanui Inlet – our partner voluntary organisation on harbour health

The Porirua City Council Harbour team – financial support and worked with schools to include photography in environmental education programmes.
Pataka for hosting the awards ceremony and exhibition
