Three new trustees have been appointed to the Porirua Harbour Trust.
They are Rex Brady, Ray Underhill-Baker and Kylie Wihapi.
Rex Brady – is retired and very concerned about silt, mud and sedimentation impacting on recreational users in the Pauatahanui Inlet. He is an advocate for dredging but open minded on other solutions.
Kylie Wihapi – PCC Councilor and employed in Real Estate. Kylie is involved with many community groups in Porirua East.
Ray Underhill-Baker – Business Analyst and current regular user of the harbour and long term resident of Porirua. Involved with waka ama and paddle boarding out of Ivey Bay. Concerned about erosion, tidal issues and has access to many other groups.
