The Porirua Harbour and Catchment Community Trust is an independent charitable trust with the primary aim to “Promote the Sustainable Management of the Porirua Harbour and its Catchment”.

The Trust has two vacancies, and expressions of interest are invited from people willing to volunteer their time and skills. We need people who represent the diversity of our community with skills and knowledge in: rural and urban issues, recreation on and around the harbour, community consultation and motivation, communication and education.  We would particularly like someone who comes from the southern (Wellington City) part of the harbour catchment and/or someone with rural knowledge and expertise.

Appointment is for a three-year term. Further information about the Trust is included on this website.
