Conservation Week Clean-up

Conservation Week 2012 Clean Up  – During Conservation Week in September 2012 a small band of volunteers did a general clean up of the Onepoto Arm of the Porirua Harbour.

This clean-up worked from the lagoon at the base of Whiteria Park all the way round to behind Pak in Save and ended up collecting a significant amount of plastic, tyres, road cones, signs and general debris.

Further clean-ups will occur each year during or close to Conservation week and Sea week.
